The weather cooperated for the most part and the rain held off which made the schooling show even more enjoyable. Everyone had fun and brought home a few prizes. Megan has discovered how enjoyable the hunters can be, Anita and her new mare Rahli got better acquainted, Christine enjoyed her first horse show on Keigan and brought home a few ribbons, Alex and Jinx did well in the 1m jumpers bringing home some ribbons as well, just to mention a few highlights of the horse show. I also want to give a biog thanks to everyone who stayed and helped take down the set up especially those of you who weren’t showing.

Just a reminder if you want to go to either weeks of May/June TBird the entries are due today. The easiest way to enter is at http://showgroundslive.com/esp/. If everyone can create a show grounds live account that would be really helpful that way Justine can view everyone’s entries online. You can check all the horses entered in the show and once the show is running it keeps updating the rings so u can check the ring status from your smart phone; it’s extremely convenient you wont even have to go up to the rings if your busy in the barn.

Although there wasnt a huge turn out for the clinic it was a great success. Claudia loved the newly expanded outdoor arena and gave us a detailed plan for all of our natural jumps we want to build outside. A huge hanks to eveyone who helped out over the weekend setting jumpsit was greatly appreciated! iI hope everyone who rode in the clinic learned alot and is feeling inspired for show season which is fast approaching.

An update for everyone who is wanting to attend the Thunderbird for their April outdoor schooling show, April 26th -29th , there is a sign up list on the tackroom door if you want to go please put your horses name and your name on the list. We will be heading to Thunderbird Wednesday night with the horses. This is a great way to kick off the show season for those of us who didn’t make it down to Thermal this year. The weather wont be as hot but fingers crossed for a dry weekend!! If your not riding come and support on everyone who is.

We are excited to be having Claudia Cojocar coming in to do an outdoor clinic, weather permitting, April 14th and 15th. Stop by to watch the clinic or contact Justine at justine@sperabostables.com if you would like to participate in the clinic, or need more information.
